Deister Machine Co. has added a line of portable horizontal screening plants, available in 6-ft x 20-ft and 8-ft x 20-ft models; and offered in a number of custom configurations suitable for in-pit portability or ease of transport from site to site in crushed stone, and sand and gravel; or in concrete and asphalt recycle applications. The units rely on the Deister heavy-duty horizontal triple-shaft vibrating screen style. The plants have features that include walking beam tri-axle suspension; access ladders and walkways on both sides and front of the 6 ft x 20 ft screen (or hydraulic folding on one side of the 8 ft x 20 ft screen); centralized grease points; chutes and hoppers lined or made from AR 400 plate; a 60-in. undersize conveyor below the 6 ft x 20ft screen (or an 84-in. undersize conveyor on the 8 ft x 20 ft screen); 30-in. motorized head pulley cross conveyors (or 36-in. on the 8 ft x 20 ft); and self-cleaning, wing-type tail pulleys. Optional features include a feed hopper with a heavy 36-in. conveyor including impact area (42-in. on the 8 ft x 20 ft); an optional tilt grizzly on dump hopper with hydraulics; an optional 42-in. screen feed conveyor (48-in. on the 8 ft x 20 ft); optional four leg hydraulic leveling package with 12 VDC power pack and filtration; optional hydraulic cylinders to fold conveyor and additional cylinders to adjust discharge height; optional six or eight hydraulic leveling/run-on cylinders powered by a Honda engine; and optional spring loaded belt scrapers. www.deistermachine.com
