It improves working safety, reduces the need for quarry road maintenance, and gives better access to material resources. A further benefit is waste material can be separated on-site. The NW Series portable plant can be arranged as a two-stage crushing and screening system, as a three-stage coarse, secondary and tertiary crushing and screening system, or as three independent units. www.metso.com

Sandivk
Sandvik Mining and Construction offers a complete line of wheel portable crushers to serve C&D recycling market customers. The Sandvik crusher offering includes a popular size of jaw crushers, horizontal shaft impactors, vertical shaft impactors and cone crushers to easily process C&D material. All equipment offers the latest technology in safety and process capabilities.

Sandvik’s wheel-mounted UJ310 is a complete mobile crushing plant that offers a feeder with an adjustable grizzly section formed by fabricated Hardox/Mn-Steel bars. The nominal gap is adjustable from 60 up to 90 mm. It has a wire cloth screening element beneath the grizzly (958 mm wide x 850 mm long), to remove the natural fines.

The crusher by-pass chute collects material, which passes through the vibrating feeder’s grizzly section. A manual deflecting flap allows three possibilities: Directs the intermediate and fine fractions to the delivery conveyor beneath the crusher; directs the intermediate and fine fractions to a separate fines stockpiling conveyor; or permits the removal of fine material (taken out by a separate stockpiling conveyor) and allows the intermediate fraction to follow with the crusher product on the delivery conveyor.

The operator’s platform has handrails and access ladder from the ground. Safety guards are fitted to drives and around the crusher’s flywheels. There is easy and quick displacement between job sites, with a compact design and easy access to all equipment. All the feed, discharge and connection chutes are made of steel plate with liner. An electric switchgear panel IP54 (protection class) is wired on board. The free-standing control panel cabinet is placed on the ground during operation. Local control push button on the operator’s platform gives local control of the feeder. The UJ310 plant is designed to produce up to 325 mtph of normal quarried stone at 125 mm (5 in.) close side setting.www.miningandconstruction.sandvik.com/us

Telsmith
Telsmith’s H2550-PP-VGF is a wheeled portable solution for the mobile crushing operation. Low mobilization costs combined with low maintenance requirements and high production rates, provide contractors the opportunity to be competitive on challenging jobs. The H2550-PP-VGF is easily transported from job to job on its own chassis (no special trailers are needed). When equipped with hydraulic leveling and diesel power options, the plant becomes self-contained and can go into production moments after arriving on the job site.

The 48 in. (1,220 mm) wide vibrating grizzly feeder is equipped with a variable speed drive and 6 ft (1,829 mm) long grizzly scalping section, allowing maximum production through the plant. The Hydra-Jaw H2550 jaw crusher delivers high production and advanced technologies to reduce operating costs. The HydraJaw toggle reduces downtime and operating costs. www.telsmith.com

Terex Cedarapids
The new Terex Cedarapids CRC380HLS portable crushing and screening plant’s design allows the cone crusher to be constantly choke fed, maximizing production capability. The High Lift Screen (HLS) and the cone hopper overflow system allow a large head of material to build-up, force-feeding the cone crusher which increases throughput. The large cone hopper and overflow chute buffer feed variations and prevent material from backing up to the screen which allows production rates to stay at peak levels with no need to throttle back. A gross throughput of up to 1,200 tons per hour is possible in sand and gravel.

The patent pending HLS system also increases uptime by hydraulically moving the screen forward, providing easy access for faster manganese changes. The plant quickly and easily transforms into its operating and transport modes. The CRC380HLS plant incorporates a high efficiency 300 hp MVP380 ElJay roller bearing cone crusher and a high performance 6 ft x 20 ft triple deck TSH6203 horizontal screen with ElJay oval stroke design. A blending gate system allows combining center and bottom decks in 25% increments for numerous product variations. Two large 30 in., 7.5 hp reversible product conveyors discharge 44 in. beyond the plant frame on either side. The four-axle configuration and a 3+1-axle option provide portability in most any location. Optional run-on hydraulic jacks, self-cleaning feed conveyor magnet, dust suppression system and zero speed interlocks are also available. www.terexcedarapids.com
